Access
There are two doorways (one next to the other). Both have a small rounded step, but the one at the main entrance is lower ( 4.5 cm on the outside and 5.5 on the inside). We don't have any information about the availability of mobile ramps or other elements that can be placed over the step to aid accessibility.
However, although the step is low , some people with reduced mobility may need assistance to enter the building.
Itinerary
The part of the building open to the public is located on the ground floor. The first floor has not yet opened to visitors.
There are no major accessibility difficulties on the itinerary. The lobby and visitor area fully comply with width requirements, allowing wheelchair users to move around easily.
The only accessibility problem could be caused by the series of period lamps in the lobby. These are placed at a height of 1.50 m and protrude 22 cm from the wall, meaning that wheelchair users could bump into them. Inside the gallery space, the only points that may prove to be an obstacle are the lintels of the door that leads to an inner courtyard as well as a set of cupboard doors that are sometimes left ajar.
